Voltalia awarded two new hydroelectric projects in metropolitan France

Voltalia (Euronext Paris, ISIN code: FR0011995588), an international player in
renewable energies, announces today that it has won two new hydroelectric
projects in metropolitan France, for a total installed capacity of 4.4 MW

After winning two solar projects in France's national call for tender earlier
this month(1), Voltalia has again been selected by the French Ministry for
Ecological and Inclusive Transition in a call for tender for the construction
and operation of small hydropower plants. This new win highlights the
competitiveness of the projects developed by the Group in metropolitan France.

The two winning projects are the hydroelectric project of Croix et Jorasse (2.4
MW), located in the town of Cordon in the Haute-Savoie department, and the
Merderel project (2 MW), located in Albiez-le-Jeune in the Savoie department.
These two high-head run-of-the-river hydropower plants will not require any
water retention and will have a limited environmental impact since they will
not hinder the sedimentary continuity.

The Croix et Jorasse and Merderel power plants will both benefit from a 20-year
electricity sales contract effective from commissioning, expected end of 2022
at the latest according to the terms of the tender.
