cyan AG: Orange Slovakia extends its cybersecurity portfolio including cyan’s Child Protection and PC Protection

Munich, November 13, 2023 - cyan AG (XETR: CYR), a leading European and global provider of intelligent cybersecurity solutions and BSS/OSS platform services for communication service providers, today announced that Orange Slovensko, a member of Orange Group, has launched Child Protection and PC Protection products based on technology provided by cyan. After successfully introducing the mobile cybersecurity service included in the Go Safe packages, Orange now offers a full range of cybersecurity solutions from mobile to desktop including parental controls for child safety as part of the “Online ochrana” (online protection) line of products.

“Since its launch ‘Online ochrana’, our cybersecurity service, has proven to be immensely successful protecting our customers from over 650 000 threats per day on mobile alone. By adding the solutions Online Ochrana PC (online PC protection) and Online Ochrana Deti (online child protection), we will be able to extend our protection service to some of the most vulnerable user-groups,” explained Alexandra Piskunova, Corporate and Brand Reputation of Orange Slovakia. “As a leading operator, we want to be as proactive as possible in the fight against cyberattacks and crime. Together with cyan, we meet and exceed our customers’ expectations for an integrated, easy-to-use, and trusted cybersecurity proposition.”

In a staggered implementation process Orange and cyan have first implemented cyan’s leading mobile cybersecurity solutions. In multiple phases further features and solutions have been added, the latest being Child Protection and PC Protection. Child Protection allows parents to accompany their children during their first steps on the internet and protects the youngest users from harmful content. With the Child Protection app, available on mobile, tablet or computer, parents regain control of their children’s digital lives by setting screen-time limits, access to inappropriate content and protection from cyberthreats. The latter, PC Protection is a service designed to protect Windows devices of customers against malicious content such as phishing, ransomware and malware while surfing the Internet. It includes a web filter scanning for malicious web addresses and features to quickly scan devices for viruses.

Markus Cserna, CEO of cyan AG said: “The launch of the two additional solutions marks an important milestone not just for us, but also for the digital safety of all customers at Orange Slovakia. Orange Slovakia has now successfully launched the whole integrated cybersecurity product range of cyan capable to protect Orange’s entire customer base. Safety at scale requires an easy-to-use solution that can protect large numbers of devices and their users – something that our network-integrated security can, and it these numbers prove that. We are looking forward to our continued collaboration and will support as Orange Slovakia rolls out the solutions.”
