Encavis Asset Management again delivers a record year in 2022: This is how the energy transition works!

Neubiberg/Munich, 30 January 2023. Encavis Asset Management AG (Encavis AM), a subsidiary of the MDAX-listed wind and solar park operator Encavis AG, has expanded its portfolio for institutional investors by more than 415 MW in 2022. This corresponds to an increase of over 30 %.

In the past financial year, Encavis AM increased its installed capacity from Renewable Energies to 1.4 gigawatts (GW). This success is based on the commissioning of wind and solar parks in Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands. Electricity production rose by around 17 % to a good 2.1 million KWh, thus reaching a new record level.

In addition, further wind and solar parks were acquired for institutional investors in France, Ireland and Germany last year. These Renewable Energy plants are currently being developed or are already under construction. In the course of this, Germany's largest photovoltaic plant is currently being developed in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with around 270 MW.

"We are proud of this performance, and we will continue to expand our portfolio and push forward the energy transition with all our might in 2023. Our Renewable Energy plants, which we operate for institutional investors, are already making a significant contribution to a sustainable and climate-friendly energy supply by avoiding more than 672,000 tonnes of climate-damaging CO2 every year," says Karsten Mieth, Spokesman of the Management Board of Encavis Asset Management AG.
