The "ROAD TO COLOGNE 2024" kicked off in Italy. The route took the Alfa Romeo Stelvio through the hilly Piedmont region bordering the foothills of the Alps to Asti and Barolo in northern Italy, Lombardy and finally past Lake Maggiore to Tagliabue Gomme Gross (TGG), one of Italy's largest tyre dealers based in Villasanta near Milan. There, not far from the Monza F1 circuit, is one of the most important reference points in the Italian tyre industry, which the sales partner Tagliabue Gomme has conquered in its more than 100 years of existence thanks to its branches in Emilia Romagna, Veneto, Piedmont and Lazio. "In addition to deepening personal relationships, the agenda included the further development of a future roadmap for the SAILUN Group's upcoming tyre innovations and the expansion of relationships with SAILUN management with the aim of further strengthening the good cooperation for the challenges ahead," says Nicolò Arrigoni, Head of Marketing at Tagliabue.


From Italy, the "ROAD TO COLOGNE 2024" continued on to Spain. With an all-electric Hyundai IONIQ in the name of e-mobility and SAILUN's new EV range, the journey continued along the Spanish Mediterranean coast to the Costa Blanca - past the salt flats of Santa Pola and Osborne bulls constantly lining the road to Alicante, where the SAILUN roadshow team made its second stop at the headquarters of Grupo Soledad, one of the largest and leading tyre distributors. Grupo Soledad has been the exclusive distributor of the extensive SAILUN tyre range since 2019. The distribution network comprises more than 100 own branches, supplemented by a franchise network of around 2,000 sales outlets in Spain and Portugal. Media representatives and the international audience will find out all the facts and background information about "ROAD TO COLOGNE 2024" at THE TIRE COLOGNE on 4 June 2024 as part of the SAILUN press conference. In addition to the benefits of EcoPoint3 technology for the SAILUN tyre portfolio, the focus will be on the findings of the European tour in terms of performance, competitiveness and resource conservation. Up to 20 new models will also be presented in Hall 07.1, Stand C040. These include the latest generations of PCR, TBR and special products, as well as a tyre development for electric vehicles and hybrids that sets new standards.
